Padež is a small dispersed settlement in the Laško municipality in eastern Slovenia. It lies in hills to the northeast of Laško. The area was traditionally part of the Lower Styria region. It is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Savinja statistical region.[2]

A small roadside chapel in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Mary and dates to the 19th century.[3]
